*** rs p. 34 Apostasy ***
Definition: Apostasy is abandoning or deserting the worship and service of God, actually a rebellion against Jehovah God. Some apostates profess to know and serve God but reject teachings or requirements set out in his Word. Others claim to believe the Bible but reject Jehovah’s organization.
This is the word from the only true Christian Organization. (pfft)

Who exactly is an apostate?
by SonoftheTrinity inif you are a non-believing relative or spouse who is hostile to their doctrine are you an apostate?
if you studied with them and rang the logical fallacy buzzer for chits and giggles to see how they would react does this make you an apostate?.
if you are a born in who never got baptised does this make you an apostate?.

Please help me figure out my dreams
by Socrateswannabe inhi everyone, this may be the stupidest post ever.
i am stumped for an answer and would love to hear your opinions, though.
every week or two for the last couple of years, i have a dream--or at least that's what i'm calling it--that consists of me waking up or thinking that i've waked up, and seeing the ceiling of my darkened bedroom filled with algebraic equations.

I am no expert. I also have dreams full of wacky images. But I have found that often the way our conscious mind interprets the contents is often more telling than the symbols themselves. You said, "It looks like something from Albert Einstein's chalkboard". They could have come from anywhere but you tagged them as from A. Einstein. It could be as simple as you watched a bio on him or read something about him and it was incorporated by your mind into your dream. What does Einstein mean to you? You mentioned that you "wake up" in your dream though you haven't awakened. When you awaken in your dream it fades to black. So there's an element worth looking at. What does fading to black indicate for you? Give it some thought. Sometimes I wake up laughing at dreams I've had. Good luck! -

Responses like those of the cart-slaves show just how empty their world is. The denial is horrific. The GB sure know how to control the R&F. Goebbels would be proud. Watched the 2 min drill, it was over 11 minutes. It was about 11 minutes too long. -

The people of Iran don’t watch the Flintstones, but the people of Abu Dahbi Do.
I just came in second in a Fidel Castro look-alike contest. The judge said I came close but no cigar.

JW NFL Player Retires
by Barrold Bonds inthis is news to me, despite somewhat following the steelers.. http://www.post-gazette.com/sports/steelers/2015/03/11/steelers-free-agent-jason-worilds-announces-his-departure-from-football/stories/201503110155.
with all the surprises that were delivered around the nfl tuesday, jason worilds has pulled another.
the steelers free agent linebacker announced early this morning that he was leaving football.. and the steelers believe he means it.. steelers sources told the post-gazette today that they believe worilds, who became an unrestricted free agent on tuesday, is serious about walking away from football at the age of 27 to work for his religion, jehovahs witnesses, and that there is no hidden agenda involved in his decision.. i appreciate all of the interest from the organizations that have reached out to us the past few days, worilds wrote on twitter.

Fading and not "outing" yourself, what are your thoughts on it?
by Brock Talon infading and not "outing" yourself.. what are your thoughts on it?.

I do not consider myself an "ex" JW. I am simply me. I was a JW and now I am not, whether I announce it in the congregation or not. I agree, they have no hold. So I give them none. Fading was my route. I don't like joining parades for causes. I will expose the JW religion with my experience speaking for itself. My advice is don't worry about internet people. All you have to do is hit delete and they magically disappear. -

Parents who left 'the truth', here's an example of the threats that your children will no longer be subjected to
by defender of truth in13 some youths brought up by christian parents may not see the stark contrast between our current spiritual paradise and satans dark world.
some have even been tempted to see what life in the world is like.
but would you run in front of a moving car just to find out how painful and possibly fatal that could be?

The Org has allowed the R&F a false sense of freedom. They think its OK to be like the world, ie: "Happy at Bethel" video, but when the GB want control they pull the reigns on the sheeple to make them halt and obey. Hitler knew if you focus the hatred of followers on a group or people, the worldlings in this case, you can control your followers. Start with the kids, brilliant really. In a sick and creepy cultist way. -

Hey Giordano, Unfortunately the GB has taken the pedophile issue off the table with their JW TV pronouncement about apostates being the source of the statements that the Org. is a pedophile paradise. No self respecting witness would ever quote the reality of such goings on because it has become off limits by the Gov. Body. They know what they are doing. -

Sometimes it seems as if the people in the congregation are like the Weeping Angels, every time you blink or turn around they seem to come closer to sending you away. -

Just Want To Be Heard
by dubstepped ini've been lurking here for a while now, and i guess you could call me a fader.
i don't have hate in my heart for the organization that i spent most of my life in, but i have had an awakening.
luckily, so has my wife, and that way i don't feel so alone.

Great to hear from you. You are overflowing and it shows. A little advice that will endear you to everyone, shorter is better. Its OK to move forward with more targeted comments now that you have gotten that rush of feelings out. I applaud your courage and timidity, there is a time and place for both after all. You have no idea how jealous many will be of your wife's good sense since they are weighted down by the sadness of a mate who is still loony. Hopefully its just temporary for them. Welcome once again!
